HUM STAFF ON ASSIGNMENT
Back next week.

Sunday

WEEKLY REVIEW (3-02-08)

HUM HOT LIST

1. CHELSEA MORNING
Chels visited Burlington this week and asked us all to get our friends to vote for her mom. What if we don't have any friends? What if our friends can't stand Hillary? Then what?
Also, is Chelsea getting better looking or are we drinking more? Or maybe both?

2. RALPH NADER AND ANTHONY POLLINA RUNNING AGAIN
See any similarities between the two?
By the way, a recent TV poll for Gov had Douglas at 53%, Galbraith at 22% and Anthony at 12%. Or something close to that.

3. BHS, RICE IN BOY'S HOOP FINALS
BHS is undefeated. So were the New England Patriots.
Rice 59, BHS 54.

4. COMPOST HAPPENED
What the blank is the state thinking? We should be thinking of creative ways for Intervale Compost to thrive instead of mandating, permitting and knocking the piss out of them. Hello!

5. 108 INCHES... SO FAR
We could end up having the 4th or 5th snowiest winter ever. Where's global warming when you really need it.
For weather bugs like us, Matt Sutkoski's BFP Weather Rapport blog is a fun read. Matt has dubbed last month "Februweary".
When Matt was a fledgling reporter, he also worked part-time at a downtown stand called Blue Suede News. Remember that place? Had a sign out front that said, SORRY, WE'RE OPEN.
