WATERBURY WATER PARK CONSIDERED
Gov and chums looking for ways to use state land in Waterbury, the parcels of which are  located on a flood plain. One idea floated around is turning the sector into a water park and amusement center. As long as the area is going to get soaked anyway, let's throw in some waterslides, bouncy pools and other fun water-y things, charge 50 bucks a pop, just like Six Flags. Bang! Crisis over.

SPEAR STREET OBNOXIOUS HOME OWNER OFFERS 1 BILLION FOR CITY OF BURLINGTON
Citing Burlington's financial woes, a Spear Street Obnoxious Home Owner has offered to buy the city for 1 billion dollars, with the stipulation that South Burlington be thrown in for free. City officials declined to comment.

FIVE CORNERS UPDATE
Almost went CUCKOO at the Essex Junction Five Corners light yesterday. The wait at the intersection was very long, forcing me to endure approximately 26 Perrywinkle Jewelers commercials as I radio surfed.
I am now considering satellite.
